August Peak Sauces Episode 1: Tomato Pomodoro

Fresh Spaghetti with Tomato Sauce
Servings: 3
Ingredients:

9 oz fresh spaghetti
1 (24 oz) jar Augustpeak tomato sauce
2.5 cups water
Shaved Parmesan cheese, for garnish

Instructions:

Simmer Water:
Pour 2.5 cups of water into a shallow pot.
Bring the water to a simmer over medium heat.

Cook Spaghetti:
Add the fresh spaghetti to the pot, spreading the pasta apart.
Let the pasta absorb the water for a few minutes.

Add Sauce:
Once the pasta has started to absorb the water, add the jar of Augustpeak tomato sauce.
Stir gently to combine the sauce with the pasta.

Reduce and Coat:
Allow the sauce to reduce slightly and coat the pasta evenly.

Serve:
Portion the pasta into bowls.
Garnish with shaved Parmesan cheese.

Notes:

Serve immediately for best taste!
